NFL Draft Rankings

How these rankings work

The rankings are built from season long over/under lines posted by sportsbooks, converted into fantasy points.

When a book hasn't posted a line for a stat, we estimate it from the player's other lines and his previous seasons, and label it a StartWho projection. It's replaced as soon as a real line appears.

Players are ordered by draft value rather than total points. Quarterbacks score more than every other position, so ranking on points alone would put a replaceable QB above an elite tight end. Each player is ranked on what he adds over the last startable player at his own position, which is why the Proj column doesn't always decrease as you scroll.

The number shown for each stat is the market's expected value. It blends every book carrying that stat and accounts for the price each one attaches to its line, since a book posting a high number and paying out generously on the over is telling you it doesn't expect that number to be reached. So it won't match any single sportsbook exactly, but it is the figure the points are calculated from.

The Data column shows how many of a player's key stats have a real posted line. 1/3 means the other two are our projections.
